A part of making all 360 film is editing in After effects
Today I have been learning how to Import footage into After effects and put in place buttons, that will be used to make the 360-film become interactive
I’ve enjoyed doing this as I feel like I have understood this method and have been able to successfully place buttons in 3 rooms
For the 360 film assignment we will be working in a group of three. We have to create a film giving a tour of the LCC campus. Where do I begin is the question on my mind. Luckily my group has a lot of ideas that I think will be amazing and I’m very excited to get creating.
Today were thinking about branching the narrative and how are 360 film could be interactive. We thought about where it would begin and explored the idea of multiple Changes of locations For our 360 film.
we are learning about 360 cameras and how they work. we’re using the Ricoh Theta 360 camera and will be downloading the footage via the Theta app.
We will also use After effects to edit our 360 films. We learnt about Stornaway.io, an app that can create interactive experiences. We were also introduced to Eevo which is a similar app to Stornoway. Eevo is where we will download our footage to create an interactive 360 experience.
Imagining what our partner was seeing during are phone call.
My original thoughts were loud, noisy and a very busy environment. I was continuously distracted from the call.
I was unable to imagine my partner doing anything. I then heard a voice tell my partner lets return to class.
As I recap that moment, I did envision my partner walking back to class. This makes me think that my experience was slightly immersive. The audio help my brain fabricate a image of my partner even though it was only for a few seconds.
